HOW DO RGV SLICERS WORK?

The rgv slicers are equipped with a rotating and sharp blade, in a material suitable for contact with food for cutting products. The product to be cut is placed on a moving trolley which is slid in contact with the blade to make the cut. The now cut product comes out from the opposite side of the blade, on the non-cutting side, where there is a surface on which to collect the sliced ​​product.


The slicers are available in different models according to your needs. The first models of slicer present in history are those with crank, which are still used for cuts of particular cold cuts and for scenographic choices. They provide for a movement of the blade through the use of a wheel moved by arm. Today's slicers are electric, therefore connected to a motor that automatically gives movement to the blade and it is the user to slide the trolley on which the food to be sliced ​​is answered. There are also models of vertical slicers that are used for cutting products such as meat on a vertical structure.
